Anna Monti, 88 of Somerville, died Sunday after a long illness in the Wilmington Health Care Wilmington, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Somerville for the past 52 years and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Coliano. Anna was a Packer at Necco Candy Company in Cambridge for 20 years and retired in 1972.
Beloved wife of the late Vincent R. Monti. Devoted mother of Richard Monti of Billerica. Loving grandmother of Stephen, Christopher, and Michael Monti. Loving greatgrandmother of Erik and Lynsey Monti. Sister of the late Frank, George and Gloria Coliano, Helen Miatta and Flo D’Alessandro. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
