Obituary

Lorraine L. Phillippino
10 February, 2021

Passed away peacefully in her sleep, in her home in Taunton, at the age of 90. Devoted wife to the late Michael Phillippino for 51 years, she is survived by her 3 children, Michael Phillilppino, Conn. Vincent Phillippino and his wife Karen, Falmouth, Anne-Marie Friedlander and her husband George, Fall River, and 6 grandchildren: Paul, and Krissy Phillippino, Danielle, George, Michael, and Emma Rose Friedlander. Lorry’s life was full of activity; she was ardently involved in her church and served as guild president for St. Paul’s parish, she participated in various charitable organizations and committees, and in her lifetime she worked for Morton Hospital, Wheaton College, and New York Lace Store, but to those who knew her and loved her, Lorry was best known for her kindness to others. Her happiness came from making others happy and she did it so well. Always ready to lend a helping hand, give a hug, or bake a cake – her dedication to her husband, her children, and her friends serve as a testament of love; she will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind. Visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday, February 16th from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Andrew the Apostle Church at 11 AM.
