Juanita Davis was born June 12, 1962 to the late Eliza Davis (Wallace Cursey) Robert Lee Davis, she had five brothers, four sisters, two children, and two grandchildren. She departed this Life peacefully at the age of 58 on February 2, 2021, while in the care of Seasons hospice in Milton, Massachusetts due to cancer.
Juanita was born in Boston, Massachusetts shortly after she was raised with a very southern upbringing in Meridian, Mississippi where she attended Meridian High School and enjoyed playing various sports such as track and basketball. After high school while still in her teens, Juanita decided to move back to Boston offering her help and support to her eldest sister Martha, by looking after and caring for her six children as well as two young children of her own. Juanita later went on to become a certified PCA for many years in Boston which suited her servant heart and giving spirit. Juanita has the most amazing sense of humor making everyone around her laugh, she loved everyone and touched them deeply. She was a dedicated mother first and grandmother first and foremost and embraced every moment of it.
Beloved daughter of the late Eliza Davis, and Robert Lee Davis and Robert Lee Davis Jr, Walter Lee Davis, Curtis Lee Davis, John Henry Davis, wife Bernice Davis and Joseph Larry Davis also known as Joe and her nephew Michael Wayne Davis, plus two nieces, Maxine LaShan Davis and Frankie Joyelle Speed Davis. Juanita is survived by her son Jerome Dwayne Davis, daughter Tellisa Davis and two grandchildren Devin Davis and Mellisa Davis. Her sisters Martha Lee Davis-Speed and her husband Frank speed, Mildred Jean Davis, Charlie Davis, Ora Catherine Davis and a host of nieces and nephews.
