Ronald W. Murray, lifelong resident of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, February 10th. He was 84. Born and raised in Medford, he was the cherished son of the late Caroline “Lilly” (Romano) Murray.
A natural people person Ronald loved to talk to everyone, especially when it was about politics. He was always up to having a good debate. Ronald enjoyed watching car auctions on TV, sipping a tall cold glass of lemon-cello, doing crossword puzzles and Sudoku, playing his daily lottery numbers, enjoying the biggest bowl of ice-cream at 4 AM (especially if it was anything chocolate) and perfectly ironing and folding his laundry.
Ronald was the beloved husband of the late Anna (Agresti ) Murray. He was the devoted father of Kimberley Frattaroli and her fiancé Gary Bagarella, and Mark Murray and his wife Sheri. He was the loving Pa of Kaitlyn Doucette and her husband William, Miranda Murray and her fiancé Kevin Nazzaro, Mark and Joey Frattaroli. He was the caring Great Pa of Anna Doucette. He was the brother of the late Richard Murray. He was the loving uncle of Jaime Murray and her wife Jeanna. He was the brother in law of Anthony Agresti and the uncle of Kris and Karen Kiernan.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Ronald’s family on Tuesday, February 16th from 9 to 11 AM, at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11:30 AM. Social distancing protocols will be in place throughout all services. Burial will be private.
