Helen B. (Bandzul) Janiszeski . 93, of Wrentham formerly of Bellingham died February 10 in her daughter’s home in Millville following long illness. She was the wife of the late James J. Janiszeski who died in 2013.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, March 17, 1927, the daughter of the late Antoni and Anna (Bania) Bandzul, Mrs. Janiszeski grew up in Pawtucket and had lived in Bellingham before moving to Wrentham 44 years ago.
Helen had worked as a housekeeper at the Mt. St. Rita Health Center in Cumberland for 25 years before retiring in 2002.
She had previously worked for 18 years at General Electric/Telecrom in Ashland.
She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Helen is survived by her children, Edward Janiszeski of Quincy, Carolyn Rainville of Millville, and James Janiszeski of Wrentham.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Walter Cogean and Helen Bergstrom of North Carolina.
She was the sister of the late Veronica Machowski of Pawtucket.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 16 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:00 followed by a funeral mass in St. Brendan’s Church, Bellingham at 10:00. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
