Joao Cardoso (50) of Brockton died February 9th in the city.
He was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde, son of Cedalia Esteves of Brockton and the late Antonio Pina Cardoso. Joao was an auto body technician and a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church. He enjoyed Cape Verdean music, dancing and socializing with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his daughter Isilene Cardoso of Brockton, 2 brothers, Djone Pereira of Brockton and Luis Pereira of Cabo Verde, 2 sisters, Neusa Pereira of Brockton and Maria Semedo both of Brockton.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Tuesday February 16th at 9 am. Followed by a Graveside Service in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton at 12:30 pm.
Due to the COVID-19 Massachusetts Phase 3 Guidelines the Funeral Home will be open to 40 percent occupancy, face masks are required and please practice social distancing. We are all in this together.
