Nina Gunby Broome, 62, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Monday, February 8, 2021, at her residence.
Private graveside services will be held.
Mrs. Broome was born November 1, 1958, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Grant & Lizzie Mae Benson Gunby. She was a 1976 graduate of Irwin County High School. Mrs. Broome was a seamstress for Irwin Manufacturing and co-owner of Broome Firearms. She attended Frank Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Harvey Broome of Irwin County; a daughter, Angie Williams & David of Waverly; a son, Fred Broome, Jr. & Cheyenne of Missouri; grandchildren: Brittany & Andrew Sirmans, Justin Broome and Kayleigh Broome; two brothers: Rick Gunby of Irwin County and Greg & Catherine Gunby of Fitzgerald and in-laws: J.M. & Dale Broome and Shirley Tankersley, all of Irwin County.
