Norma D Ford of Bellingham passed away Friday Feb, 5
She is survived by her husband of 59 years John R Ford. Her son John E Ford and his partner Lori Davis of Warwick RI. Her Daughter Amanda Leavitt and her husband David of Bellingham, Ma. Her Granddaughter Jackqueline Fox and her husband Matthew and two great grandchildren Douglas and Eric of Ohio. Her Grandson James Melanson of Grafton, Ma Her sister Ann M Detterline of Fulton NY and many Nieces and Nephews all from central NY.
Norma received her teaching degree from Syracuse University and spent many years as a substitute teacher in the Bellingham school system. Norma was a member of Sweet Adelines international for over forty years, singing and directing in two local choruses The King Phillip Chorus in Franklin Ma and Post Road Chorus in Worcester Ma. She also earned her arrangers certificate and enjoyed arranging music for her choruses and the numorous barbershop quartets she sang in over the years.
A family service will be held at a later date at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Holliston, Ma
