Nalijah Andrade, 17, of New Bedford, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021.
Born and raised in New Bedford, she was the daughter of Adiero Andrade and Diva Duarte.
Nalijah loved to do make up, and aspired to be a beautician. She was friendly, and extremely outgoing. She loved making people smile and laugh.
Survivors include her parents; her grandparents, Eugenia Duarte, David Duarte, and Berta Andrade; sisters Giani Andrade, Valdina Andrade; brother Erick Ayala; her stepmother Veronica Varella; her stepsister Jeronica Barbosa; her stepbrother Jalen Nicholas; her uncles, David Duarte, Rolando Andrade, Pedro Andrade, Carmindo Andrade, Cipriano Andrade, George Andrade, Manuel Andrade, David Duarte, and Caesar Duarte; an aunt Eunice Andrade; great uncles Vital Viera, Joao Viera, and Rui Viera; and great-aunts Stella Duarte, Fatima Viera, and Maria Viera.
Her visiting hours will be Thursday, February 11, from 4-8PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, MA. Funeral Services will be private.
