Pauline P. (Gatta) Bertini, of Stoneham, passed away at her home, February 4, 2021, following a period of declining health. She was 82. Pauline was the beloved wife of late Gene "Gino" Bertini Sr. Born in Cambridge she was the daughter late Constance (Torrone) Williams. Pauline was the devoted mother of Dana Bertini of Stoneham, Paula Bertini of Windham, NH, Joey Bertini of Georgia, and Gene Bertini Jr. Stoneham, and daughters-in-law. She was the dear sister to Sandra Gatta-O'Toole, who was instrumental in her daily care, brothers, Robert Gatta of Everett, Michael Gatta of Hudson, NH, Edward Gatta of Hudson, NH, and Mark Gatta of Stoneham. Pauline is also survived by 14 loving grandchildren and 7 loving great grandchildren, whom she adored.
Pauline was employed at United Stationers for over 30 years prior to her retirement. She cherished time with her family and friends and she also enjoyed going to the casino and vacationing with those she loved. Pauline will fondly be remembered for her big heart and willingness to help others, always putting their needs before her own.
Funeral services will be held from McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Wednesday, February 10th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. All attending must wear a face mask and adhere to social distancing protocols.
