Obituary

Worcester- Maria B. (Adam) Vysniauskas, 82, of Worcester, died Saturday, March 18, in her home.
Her husband of fifty-two years, Antanas Vysniauskas died in 2000. She leaves her son, Harry Vysniauskas of Hubbardston; a sister, Emma Tamulis of Ashburn, Virginia. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald A. Vysniauskas and a brother Herman Adam. She was born in Stienheim, Germany, daughter of George and Margaret (Zilch) Adam and lived in Australia before coming to the United States in 1958.
Mrs. Vysniauskas attended schools in Germany and later received musical training before singing in the Opera Houses of Europe. She worked at Clark University as a chef before retiring in 1991. Maria enjoyed classical music, traveling to Europe, and swimming
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, in the chapel of St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St. There are no calling hours. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., is assisting the family with arrangement. www.worcesterfuneral.com
