SPENCER: Edna M. "Kate" Masterson,95, of Spencer, died Monday, Feb. 1 in the Lutheran Home, Worcester after a period of declining health.
She was the wife of Thomas J. Masterson who died in 1960. She leaves her son Thomas Masterson of England, her daughter in law Margaret A. Masterson of Spencer, three grandchildren; Timothy Masterson of Spencer, Jonathan Masterson and his wife Jacqueline of Holly Springs, NC., and Angela Masterson of England, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Robert J. Masterson in 2018, brother John Harris and sister Ellie Harris.
Born in London, she was the daughter of Thomas S. and Amelia (Wackett) Harris. She later served her country in the Women's Land Army during WWII.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Lutheran Home and Summit Elder Care in Worcester for their care and kindness over the years.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date when deemed safe for everyone to attend.
