Mr. Louis Edmond of Dorchester passed away on January 31, 2021.
The Haitian community, especially the Edmonds family sadly lost a love one on Sunday,
January 31, 2021, when Mr. Louis Edmond, favorably known as “Frè Louis”, suddenly pass
away from a complicated health condition at Boston
Medical Center Hospital. “Frè Louis” was 80 years of
age, he was born in Haiti on April 13, 1940 and leaves
behind his wife Nanotte, his seven (7) children and in-
laws, and sixteen (16) grandchildren.

“Frè Louis” was employed at Massachusetts General
Hospital for a long time and was retired not that long
ago. He was very generous, proud and pleasant in
personality, as a result he was loved by so many. His attitude will forever remain in the lives of
all who knew him.
“Frè Louis” leaves to cherish his loving memory, his seven (7) children, fifteen (15)
grandchildren, his brother Joseph Edmond, his sister Nolita Francois, and host nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Missionary Church of the Hatian Community, 100 Temple Street, Somerville beginning at 8am on Saturday February 13.
Services will conclude with Entombment at Saint Michael's Cemetery Roslindale.
