William Harry Ferrell, 50, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Billy Wilkes officiating. Mr. Ferrell will be laid to rest at Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 5, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. COVID-19 guidelines will be observed during the visitation and the funeral service.
Ashley Ball, Stephen Clements, Stephan Pearman, Danny Roland, Troy Callahan and Anthony Allison will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Peters, Sean Peters, Kenney Goforth, Andy Ferrell and Matthew Fralick.
Born May 4, 1970 in Tifton, Mr. Ferrell was the son of the Bessie Lou Sumler and Gearldean Ferrell, both of Tifton and the late Roy Andrew Ferrell, Sr. He worked as a recovery agent.
In addition to his mothers, Mr. Ferrell is survived by his wife, Tina Sapp Ferrell of Tifton; one daughter, Kristen Sapp of Tallahassee, Florida; two sons, Corey Blake Ferrell and his fiance’, Shae Sutton, both of Omega and William Tyler Ferrell of Tifton; his siblings and their spouses, Larry David Kensinger of Marshfield, Missouri, Andrea Kay and Gary Rogers of Mount Vernon, Missouri, Ricky and Laura Peters of Brunswick, Ken Peters, Bernice Rogers and Roy Andrew Jr. and Stephanie Ferrell, all of Tifton, and Monique and Rick Jackson of Ashburn; two grandchildren, Keithen Elijah Ferrell and Maylee Sutton; and many loved nieces and nephews.
