FALL RIVER – Mary E. Capeto, age 92, of Somerset, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Capeto. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Soares and Mary (Velozo) Ferreira. Mary was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society and St. Thomas More Retiree’s. She worked for John Hancock Insurance Company as a Supervisor for over 38 years.
Mary is survived by her 3 nephews Brian Franco (wife Suzanne), Paul Franco (companion Lisa Rondeau) and Jeffrey Franco; 2 great-nephews Timothy Franco (wife Renee) and Thomas Franco (companion Delaney Norris); a great-niece, as well as her goddaughter Christine Franco (fiancé Keith Atwood) and another great niece Anya Phelan; 2 great-great nieces Raegan and Rylee. She was also predeceased by her sister Lucille Ann Franco.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a mass of Christian burial at St. Thomas More Church at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, Feb. 9th. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Monday, Feb. 8th from 4-7 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, Fall River.
