James “Jim” Tringali, age 85, of Stoneham passed away on Monday, February 1st. Raised and educated in Boston and Somerville, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Maria (Intagliata) Tringali. After high school Jim joined the Marine Corps, and was later employed as a wireman in the field of electronics. Jim enjoyed visiting Plymouth and watching Boston’s sports teams, and loved cruising to Bermuda.
Jim was the beloved husband of Maureen (Miller) (Barrett) Tringali, and the devoted father of James Tringali and his wife Lisa, and Debra and Steven Tringali. He was the loving step-father of Karen DiVito and her husband Egeo, Robert Barrett and his wife Sandra, Kathleen Pitcher and her husband James, and Robin McElligott and her husband David. Jim was the dear brother of George, Phillip and Carmella, and was predeceased by three additional siblings. He is survived by many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, February 9th, from 4 through 6 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:45 AM on Wednesday, February 10th at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett. Social distancing protocols will be observed throughout the services.
