Janice M. Lombardi
Former Proprietor of Shear’s Classic Salon in Medford
LAWRENCE: Janice M. Lombardi, age 63, a resident of Lawrence for the past 8 years, passed away at home in the care of her family and Hospice on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
Born in Boston on May 2, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Frank Lombardi and the late Nora (Martin) Lombardi.
Janice grew up Medford. She attended Medford schools and graduated from Medford High School.
After receiving her certification as a hairstylist, she owned and operated the former Shear’s Classic Salon on Washington Street in Medford. In recent years, she worked at the TJ Maxx Store in North Andover.
Janice resided in Medford and Tewksbury until moving to Lawrence in 2013.
She enjoyed drawing, decorating, and traveling to Hawaii and Arizona.
Janice is survived by her son, Justin F. Lombardi of Lawrence. She was the sister of Carol Mackey and her husband Jim of Tewksbury, Charles Lombardi and his wife Janet of Naples, FL, Thomas Lombardi and his wife Sandra of Tewksbury, Ron Lombardi of North Andover, Noreen McRae of Woburn, James Lombardi and his late wife Marilyn of Tewksbury, Susan Oranczak and her husband Michael of Rockport, and the late Francis Lombardi. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
