Kerry Honeycutt Royce, 33, of Fort Washington, MD, formerly of Medford, MA, returned to her heavenly home
on January 17, 2021, after a courageous battle with a long illness.
Kerry was the beloved wife of Thomas Royce of Fort Washington, MD, and loving and devoted mother to
four year old Erin. Kerry was the cherished daughter of Dianne Honeycutt of Tuftonboro, NH, and special sister
of Stacy Honeycutt.
Kerry also leaves behind several aunts and uncles including Bob Morrissey of Revere, Doreen Carbone and her husband
Robert of Medford, Barbara Sherritt and her husband Matt of Townsend, Bill Honeycutt and his wife Sue of Medford, and
John Honeycutt and his wife Heath of Edgartown. She is also lovingly survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews
and friends.
Kerry was preceded in death by her dear father, Steven Honeycutt of Tuftonboro, NH, and former longtime resident of
Medford, MA, and her grandparents, Dorothy and William Morrissey of Revere, and Elaine and Cleveland Honeycutt
of Medford.
Kerry was a graduate of Matignon High School, and College of the Holy Cross including a year of studies at
Trinity College, Dublin. She received a Master of Public Policy degree at American University, Washington, DC.
Kerry was employed as a Manager at Unified Champion Schools, at Special Olympics, Washington, DC, where
she will be dearly missed by her co-workers.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, MA on
February 4th at 10AM, where Kerry was a junior Eucharistic Minister and lector throughout her teenage years.
The family gratefully declines flowers and donations, but prayers, condolences and memories are gladly
accepted on this site.
