WEBSTER – David J. Miller, 64, of the Sitkowski School Apartments, died Wednesday, January 28, in UMASS/Memorial Healthcare Worcester after an illness.
He leaves 2 children, David R. Miller and his wife Crystal of Charlton and Jennifer L. Miller of Oxford; 2 granddaughters, Madison & Brooklynn Miller; his former wife, Maura K. (Smith) Jalbert of Barre; his former sisters-in-law, Donna, Paula, Patricia, Debra and Lisa; 3 care givers, Jack Barsczc, Cindi Bellisle and Angela St. Laurent; extended friends and family at Club Jigger in Dudley; nephews and nieces.
He was born on April 22, 1956 in Webster, the son of August Lubecki and Annette D. (Plasse) Miller. He was a 1974 graduate of Bartlett High School and earned an Associate Degree in Business from Central New England College in Worcester. He grew up in Webster and lived in Charlton before moving back to Webster in 1997.
Mr. Miller was first employed as a supervisor in the color department of Cranston Print Works for 23 years. He was then a manager for the Dudley Nursery and J. Annese Landscape and Supply, retiring in 2012.
He was a member of the Webster Fire Department for 10 years and also a member of the Webster Ambulance Squad. He was an avid sports fan.
His funeral will be held Saturday, February 13, from the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 11:30 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, February 12, in the funeral home.
