Frank G DeGrazia died peacefully Wednesday January 27th 2021 at Milford Hospital.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years Palma (Nonni) DeGrazia of Franklin; his daughter Denise McGuire and her husband Peter McGuire of Wrentham, his son Frank DeGrazia and his wife Debbie DeGrazia of Franklin, and his daughter in-law Lynn DeGrazia of Merrimack NH.
Frank was predeceased by his son Paul DeGrazia in 2013.
Born November 15, 1931 the first child of the late Frank and Florence (Vendetti) DeGrazia.
He was Papa to his grandchildren Colleen, Dave, Tina, Tony, Paul, Natalie and Sofia and Big Papa to his six great grandchildren. He was a loving grandfather and great grandfather to all. Boy, did he light up when the great grandkids entered the room!
He is survived by his sister Marie Daddario and her husband Jack Daddario, brother Michael (Micky) DeGrazia and his wife Millie DeGrazia all of Franklin, brother and sister in-law Mary and Lee Niro of Walpole and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother and sister in-law Joseph and Vicky Antonuccio, and brother in-law Bruno Bilotta.
Educated in the Franklin School System, upon graduation Frank enlisted in the air force and served in the Korean Conflict and honorably discharged.
After the war he settled back in Franklin raising his family, working for Mass Electric as a linesman and meter reader for many years before retiring in 1993.
A member of Saint Mary Parish having served as an usher for many years and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He spent many summers working at the Feast of Saint Roccos. Also worked part time at Schaefer stadium as a gate keeper and could always be seen letting his kids and their friends sneak into watch a game. Frank was the family DJ and played for all the locals around town. He loved his music as much as he loved his family.
He and Pam had traveled on 20 plus cruises in his lifetime, the last sailing with his son and daughter in-law to the Panama Canal. He has been all over the world, may he continue to travel in the afterlife.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
