SOMERSET - Belmira “Bella” (Freitas) Arruda, age 86, resident of Kennedy Terrace, Somerset, died Saturday in Fall River at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Wife of the late Manuel ‘Mac” Arruda. She is survived by Several Nieces and Nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Furtado, Manuel, Antone, Joseph, Leonard, John, Frank, and Freddie Freitas
Born in Portugal, the daughter of the late Antone Freitas and the late Clara (Batista) Freitas. She was a resident of Somerset for over 40 years. Before retiring, she was employed as a Sewing Machine Operator for Soloff Mfg. She was a member of St. John of God Church
Her Funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 North Main Street on Tuesday at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave. Somerset at 10:30 AM Interment in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset
