Dr. Paul L. Black, 77, formerly of Greenville, passed away on January 22 in the VA Medical Center in Providence.
Born in Rochester, NY a son of the late Harvey and Minnie (Sargowitz) Black.
He had lived in Greenville for 31 years previously living in New York.
Dr. Black was an US Air Force Veteran. Dr. Black was a dentist with the USAF and the RI Army National Guard before retiring. He was an avid camper and loved to work in his garden.
He had lived in the Tamarac Condominiums in Greenville for many years and held the Office of President of the Condo Association for 10 years.
He leaves his friends Dawn Ferraro and her daughter Emma of Smithfield and his brother Richard Black.
A private funeral was held. Burial with Military Honors was held in the RI Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
