Bonnie Lou Smith, 58, of Derry, NH, passed away Tuesday January 26, 2021, in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Derry after a long courageous battle with MS. She was born on November 2, 1962 in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late Merton and Bernice (McFarland) Perkins. She had been a resident of Derry for the past 12 years, formerly living for many years in Raymond, NH. Bonnie worked for Felton Brush in Londonderry. She will be remembered as a strong but lovable person who was always smiling.
She is survived by her three sisters, Cheryl B. Morrill, Laurie L. Desmarais, and Penny Perkins; her two brothers, Eugene A. Barnes and Perry Perkins; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband T. Michael Smith in 2014 and two brothers Merton “Mickey” Perkins and Paul Perkins Bonnie has a special place in her heart for her" West Wing Warriors" Wendy, Sarah, Shelly and Naoko. She always had a smile and a Thumbs Up for her Jen.
There are no calling hours. Graveside services will be held by the family at a later date in the Great Hill Cemetery, Chester.
