Laurent Albert Lemire, 87, of Medway, MA, passed away peacefully on January 26th, 2021, with his 4 loving daughters by his side after a brief battle fighting covid-19.
Larry was a longtime resident of Medway. He worked many years before retiring at Medway Block. Even after retirement, he continued to work doing many odd jobs, up until becoming ill. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He served in the Army after the Korean War. His family meant everything to him; it was a core of who he was. He was kind, loyal, giving and a one-of-a-kind man. He was loved by everyone.
He was the Beloved husband of the late Jane (Bernard) Lemire. He is survived by his daughters; Pamela Stoddard and her husband Matthew of Bellingham, Donna Leonardo and her husband Robert of Bellingham, Laurie Flynn and her husband Charles of Bellingham and Lisa Gebelein and Paul Segars of Hopkinton, 8 grandchildren Melaney, Andrea, Richard, Nichole, Bryon, Christie, Ashley and Angela and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday February 1st, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Saint Joseph Church, Village Street in Medway. Please follow all required Covid-19 guidelines including face coverings and social distancing.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later time when it is safe to do so. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled Veterans or a charity of one's choice.
