SOMERSET - Charles William “MAC” Mc Donald, Sr., age 52, residence 19 Slade St., Somerset, MA., died Thursday at Massachusetts General Hospital. Husband of loving wife Judith (Botelho) Mc Donald of 33 years. He is survived by One Son: Charles (C.J.) W. Mc Donald, Jr. of Somerset, MA., Two Daughters: Kristin M. Mc Donald of Greenwood Indiana and Danielle Borges of Fall River, MA., One Brother: Benjamin Mc Donald of Delaware., Two Sisters: Carol Tavares of Florida and Mary Beddow of Virginia, Four Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews. He was also brother of the late Edgar N. and Hazel Mc Donald.
Born in Fall River, the son of the late Edgar N. Mc Donald, Sr. and the late Irene (De Mello) Mc Donald. He was a Somerset resident for 6 yrs., previously residing in Fall River. For the past 6 years, he was Director of Maintenance at Heritage in Dartmouth; previously, he worked for NIRA Warehouse. He was a U. S. Army Veteran who served in Germany. He enjoyed Bowling and was a member of the Monday Night Café League of Holiday Lanes in Somerset. He was a volunteer for Special Olympics in Bowling for many yrs. He was a member of the Fall River Rod & Gun Club. He was a member of St. Dominic Church.
His funeral service will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St. on Sunday at 5:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Calling hours on Sunday 2-6 P.M.
