Sheila Helen Forester passed away peacefully on January 22, 2021 at Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading. She was 87. Born in Winchester, Sheila resided in Woburn and graduated from St Charles School. She raised a family while working part time and then landed her dream job later in life as a dental assistant. Sheila loved entertaining family and friends during the holidays and also spending time at their lake house in Maine. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness always recognizing special occasions of family and friends. In the most touching expression of love, her care for her beloved husband remained strong even in her declining health.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 68 years, Anthony James Forester, and her sons Anthony Edward Forester and his wife Linda, Paul Brendan Forester and his wife Lisa. She was the loving grandmother of Anthony, Alicia, Michelle, Ryan, Benjamin and great-grandmother of Penelope, Ava, Dylan, Josephine and Carmen. She is also survived by her sister Mary Ellen Gerry and her brothers James McInerny and his wife Annie, Stephen McInerny and his wife Lynn, Monsignor Paul McInerny and John McInerny as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Stephen and her mother Helen Haggerty McInerny as well as her son Stephen Forester and her brothers William and Edward.
