Arnold F. Holtman 86, of Franklin, died peacefully, Monday January 25, 2021 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, following an illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly L. (Cochrane) Holtman, who died in 2008.
Born January 20, 1935 in Westwood, a son of the late Arthur L. and Agnes (Barnes) Holtman, he was a former longtime resident of Medway until moving to Franklin.
He was raised and educated in Westwood and worked as an auto mechanic for Bert’s Service Station in Dedham.
Arnie was an active member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Franklin Elks Lodge #2136 in Franklin and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his children, Debra Aucoin and her husband Bill of Marlboro, & Charleen Kaufman and her husband Tilden of Franklin.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Susan Aucoin, Sean and his wife Kelly Aucoin, Kyle Kaufman and Tyler Kaufman.
He was the brother of the late August Holtman.
Due to COVID-19, his interment at North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro will be held at a later date.
