HOLDEN___Dolores M. “ Dolly” (Martello) Caccialino, 84, of Holden passed away from complications of Covid peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Saturday January 23, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Mr.& Mrs. Antonio and Amelia (Novia) Martello.
She leaves her beloved husband of 64 years, Domenic J. Caccialino, also her very devoted daughter, LuAnn P. Jacques of Shrewsbury: four precious grandchildren, Zachary Jacques and his wife Marisa of Manchester, NH., Christopher Jacques and friend, Kelsey Fournier, Natalie Caccialino and friend, Sean Scricco and Sofia Caccialino all of Shrewsbury all of whom had a corner of her heart. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Jean Marie LaMarche and her husband, Richard of Worcester and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael J. Caccialino, four brothers, John, Victor, Alfred and Robert Martello and by two sisters, Josephine Martello and Yvonne Mickrewicz. Dolly will be greatly missed by all her many wonderful friends, she loved each and everyone of them. Dolly graduated from Commerce High School in 1955.
Mrs. Caccialino was employed by the Worcester School system and retired from Assumption College where she worked as the secretary for the Plourde Recreation Center. Dolly was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Jefferson.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday January 27, 2021 with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. A calling hour will be in St. Mary Church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass on Wednesday. Current guidelines for capacity, wearing facemasks and social distancing will be followed. Burial will be private in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Church, 114 Princeton St., Jeffferson, Ma., 01522.
