Cori A. Mirdik, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Massachusetts General Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 44 years of age.
Cori was born in Lynn on October 19, 1976, a daughter of Mary (Welch) Mirdik and the late John Mirdik. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School System and and attend high school. Cori enjoyed walking and visiting Dunkin Donuts in Charlestown.
Cori is the devoted mother of Jonathan Whalen. She is the beloved daughter of Mary (Welch) Mirdik and the late John Mirdik. She is the loving sister of Tobi Mirdik and the late Scott Mirdik. She is the beloved granddaughter of Grace Welch and the late Thomas Welch, and the late Andrew and Josephine Mirdik. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Cori's visiting hours on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 A.M.
