Sergeant First Class, Thomas J. Enwright, Jr.
Thomas J. Enwright, Jr. passed away on September 25, 2001. Thomas was a career serviceman who served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1972. He served in Korea as well as four tours in Vietnam. Thomas was awarded the
Purple Heart for wounds received in action. He also received the Bronze Star Medal as well as the Army Commendation Medal.
He graduated from Quinsigamond Community College and Assumption College and attended the College of the Holy Cross. After retiring from the Army in 1972, he worked as Chief of Security for Old Sturbridge Village.
Thomas was hardworking and very kind to everyone he met. He gave unselfishly to anyone in need and was greatly loved and appreciated by his family and friends.
Burial and committal of ashes will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester.
