Samuel P. Deptula, 32 of Londonderry, NH, passed into rest Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Eustis, ME following injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident. Sam was born in Derry, NH on June 13, 1988, a son of Paul and Patricia (Lanigan) Deptula. Sam grew up initially in Florence, MA and then moved to Sandwich, MA at the age of 11. Sam was employed as a mechanical engineer at B2Q Associates in Andover, MA.
Sam is survived by his beloved wife, Allison (O’Connor) Deptula of Londonderry, his son, Evan Deptula of Londonderry, his parents of Sandwich, MA, his brother, Benjamin Deptula and his wife Kerri of Taunton, MA, and his brother Michael Deptula, of Boston, MA, and his paternal grandparents, Stanley and Lucille Deptula of Sun City Center, FL.
A walk-through wake with masks, social distancing, and limited interaction with the family will be held on Tuesday January 26, 2021 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry, NH. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating at the church will be limited. The funeral mass will also be live streamed for those unable to attend in person at https://m.facebook.com/STADerry/. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to contribute to Evan Deptula’s future educational expenses via a College Savings Plan set up through T. Rowe Price. Donate Here
