Joan Frances (McGrath) Lawson, R.N., age 90, of Medford passed away on Thursday, January 21, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. A lifelong Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late James and Gladys (Seeds) McGrath.
Joan was a 1951 graduate of Lawrence Memorial Hospital’s nursing school and later studied occupational health at Salem State College. She will be remembered by her friends and family as a good Christian.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Lawson and the devoted mother of John Alexander Lawson of Medford, and Heather Diane Lawson and her spouse Jamie Diane Roberson of Virginia. She was the dear sister of Marilyn Faulkner of Lynn and loving aunt of Susan and Tracy Faulkner.
Funeral services will be private.
