Joanne (Lindley) Lubs, 73, of Anderson, passed away at home on January 21, 2021. She was born on February 23, 1947 in New York, the daughter of Marvin and Hilda (Jefferson) Lindley.
Joanne was a cafeteria worker in the schools in Michigan and attended East Side Church of God in Anderson. She enjoyed sewing as a hobby and had resided at Keystone woods for the past 9 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lubs in 2003.
Joanne is survived by her two children, Mark (Lori) Lubs of Anderson and Dawn (Raymond) Sears of Davidson, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Cruz (Shanna) Sears, Carrie Sears, Charity Sears, Chantelle Sears, Dustin Lubs; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Jane (Bill) Wilcox of Lavonia, Michigan, Michelle (Danny) Sattterfield of Macomb, Michigan , Sandy (Larry) Chapman of St. Maries, Idaho; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 4-7 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, Anderson, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Maranatha Church of God in Warren, MI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Burial will follow at Burtchville Township Cemetery .
Pollock Randall Funeral Home in Port Huron, Michigan is handling local arrangements.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Kidney Association.
