Bert J. Galford, 78, of Dartmouth, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at home. He was the husband of Joan A. (Wheelock) Galford.
Mr. Galford was born in Fall River, son of the late Bert and Margaret (O'Rourke) Galford and had previously resided in Somerset before relocating to Dartmouth, where he has been for the last 6 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he was a professor at UMass Dartmouth. He enjoyed working on computers and programming, loved his Corvettes and photography.
Survivors along with his wife include his 2 sons: Craig Galford of FL and Kevin Galford of MA; a daughter: Tracy Oliver of Dartmouth; sister: Peg Bugara of Little Compton, RI; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Keith J. Galford.
