On Friday, January 15, 2021, Margaret “Margie” Eileen Rehak (nee Ginnever), cherished wife and beloved mother and grandmother, went home to God. Margie was born in Brooklyn on May 25, 1939. At age nine, her widowed father, Charles Ginnever (Margaret Kuen), relocated Margie and her two sisters, Dolores and Pat, to La Crescenta, California. After Margie graduated from high school, at age sixteen, she began working for the telephone company, where she would meet her ever-adoring husband, Karl. After they married in June of 1960, they bought a house in Burbank. They moved to Van Nuys, and then to Woodland Hills, raising three daughters and a son. After retiring in Las Vegas, Margie and Karl relocated to Ventura County, in 2014. In addition to being a devoted mother and wife, Margie will be remembered as beautiful, dynamic, open-minded, encouraging, cheerful, uplifting, and fun-loving. Margie is survived by her husband Karl, her four children, Stacie (Craig), Leslie (Paul), Carrie, and Kevin (Josette), her granddaughter Katie, and her nieces, Lori, Kathi, and Charla. Her ashes will be interred at the Carpinteria Cemetery in a private ceremony.
Please consider making a memorial donation to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), with whom Margie volunteered.
Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.
