Obituary

WEBSTER – Norman P. Duclos, 58, died Monday, January 18, 2021 in UMASS/Memorial Healthcare in Worcester after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife of 38 years, Robin A. (Mulverhill) Duclos; a son, Ryan J. Duclos and a daughter, Amanda L. Jacobson both of Webster; 2 grandchildren, Sydney Jacobson and Nathan Jacobson; his mother, Jean (Bembenek) Duclos of Thompson, CT; 2 sisters, Elaine Boisvert and her husband David, and Linda Duclos; his mother-in-law, Joan (Barney) Mulverhill; his brother-in-law, Scott J. Mulverhill; a close friend Kevin Giroux, all of Webster; and nephews and nieces.

He was born on December 19, 1962 in Webster, the son of the late Norman C. Duclos and grew up in Thompson CT. He was a 1981 graduate of Ellis Tech in Killingly, CT and lived in Webster since his marriage in 1982.

Mr. Duclos first worked as a machinist and currently was a truck driver for J.B. Hunt Trucking Company for the last 8 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. His true pride and joy were his grandchildren.

A graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations in his name may be made to Webster EMS, 67 Thompson Road, Webster, MA 01570. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, MA.
