PROVIDENCE – Louis A. Nunes, age 63, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2021 at Miriam Hospital. Born in Funchal, Madeira, Açores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria Nunes. 15 years ago, Louis owned 2 restaurants, That’s Amore in Taunton and Bada Bing in Bridgewater. Recently he worked for M&G Transportation in Pawtucket, RI. He was also a member of the King Philip Yacht Club of Fall River.
Louis is survived by his children Louis A. Nunes Jr. (wife Diane), Kayla M. Jusseaume (husband Adam) all of Fall River and his late son Aaron Nunes; siblings Ann Fernandes (late husband Louis) and Emmanuel Nunes (wife Cynthia); grandchildren Jayce Nunes, Mya, Lily and Cole Jusseaume; niece Shannon L. Pereira (husband Richard); great nieces Ava and Talia Pereira; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph’s Church at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, Jan 27th. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Tuesday, Jan 26th from 5-7 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, Fall River.
