Terry S. Moore, 85, of Anderson died January 18, 2021 at Community Hospital.
He was born August 8, 1935 in Statesville, North Carolina, the son of Robert Glenn Moore and Grace (Bell) Moore Hoke.
He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1964.
He worked as a tool and die maker at Inland Fisher Guide for 30 years before retiring in 1994.
Survivors include his loving, caring wife, Barbara Jean Moore whom he married December 9, 1961; three children, Jeff (Patty) Moore; Lori Campbell Moore; Lisa (Scott) Tackitt; eight grandchildren, Amanda Moore, Dean Moore, Dustin (Karah Grace) Reoch, Emily (Nick) Adams, Kara Asbury, Caleb (Amanda) Asbury, Nick Tackitt and Jordan (Britaini) Tackitt; several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James Moore and son, Mark Alan Walker.
Private family services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Parkinson's Foundation.
The family wants to express their gratitude to precious caregiver and friend, Michelle Drechsler for all the excellent care that she gave to Terry during his illness.
