SHINE, Thomas of Jamaica Plain, passed away at home on January 17, 2021. Tom spent the past 50 years in California before moving back to Boston this past year. A kinder man you’ll never meet. He was always there with an open heart, helping others. His friends and family meant everything to him. Tom enjoyed watching football and basketball and was an avid Celtics fan. He loved to read and take walks. He leaves behind his siblings Bill Shine of Maryland, Mary Butler of Jamaica Plain and Pat Shine of Vermont. He also leaves his nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, many cousins and his cherished friends. Services will be private with a memorial service at a later date.
