Janice Marie (Jones) Kaiser went home January 12th 2021.She has come too far to go back and has earned her rest.
Janice’s life was memorable; she had a warm heart and a gentle spirit, blessed with extra ordinary energy, character, determination and humor. Her warm spirit enhanced the lives of her children Gary Kaiser, James Maurice Kaiser, and Rhonda Kaiser. She relished the care of her grandchildren Rikki Lee Kaiser, Jack Kaiser, Brock Kaiser, Carl Kaiser, Saige Kaiser, Evan Wilson and Jimi Shaw.
She met the challenges of life with grace at the passing of her husband of 49-1/2 years, Jack Kaiser, and the passing of her beloved son Jimmy. Leaving a hole in her heart was the passing of her lifelong best friend, her brother Lowell Harold Jones.
Janice was born in the Ozarks, November 8th, 1944. She moved with her parents and two siblings to Prosser Washington, in 1953.
Janice and her two sisters, Mary Jones(married to Ruby Lopez) and Joyce(Jones) Baur (married to Richard Baur) are positive proof that being raised by strong, straight forward , God fearing parents Josh and Ida Jones, defines the character of satisfying lives being fulfilled as awesome individuals, good parents, neighbors, and friends.
Janice’s light- hearted outlook on life brought out her creative skills. She handmade and gave away hundreds of quilts. She was also an outdoor person: an avid gardener whose produce was envied by family and neighbors. She loved the lost art of canning and preserving her bounty and carrying on the traditions of family care set forth by her mother. Janice appreciated her home by painting and changing colors so many times that she claimed she had actually lost square footage. Her photography skills were well known by her family. All one had to do was look at her many albums and find a candid photo.
As evidenced by the flag flying proudly outside her home, she was a patriotic American. She was a voracious reader of history and everything else she could get her hands on. And she could remember and quote, where appropriate, a lyric from every county song she ever heard.
Janice was a fighter and an inspiration.
No committal service will be held at her request. Her family and friends have been asked to remember her humble spirit with kind thoughts. You may leave a message for the family @ www.prosserfuneralhome.com
