James A. Fuller of Ledyard, CT passed away on January 10, 2021 at Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT after a short battle with COVID-19. James had resided at Apple Rehab of Colchester for the past seven years. James was born August 10, 1953 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was the son of Harold Fuller of MN and Dorothy Muckian Fuller of New York City, both deceased.
Jim leaves behind his beloved sister, Diane Fuller Schrage and her husband, Michael B. Schrage of Griswold, CT, his nephew, Michael N. Schrage, and his niece, Jordyn Tuttle and her husband, Charles Tuttle, and their daughter, Mckenna Tuttle, and extended family in MN and NYC.
Jim was raised in a Navy family and traveled with his family to many various locations. Jim graduated from Ledyard High School in 1973. Jim was an avid fisherman, an accomplished flute player and aquarist, and he wrote for Freshwater & Marine Aquarium Magazine. Jim also leaves behind the wonderful staff and residents of Apple Rehab of Colchester, including his girlfriend Regina, who all made his final years full of love, acceptance, and purpose.

A private graveside service will be held at the Avery Stoddard Cemetery in Ledyard on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Jim will be greatly missed by all.
