LaVonne was born on December 6, 1956 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Rudolph and Marie Bohaty. LaVonne was a healthcare worker, loved music, art, spending time with her children, grandson, brothers, sister-in-law, aunts, nieces, nephew, cousins and many friends. LaVonne had a loving, kind spirit and soul that touched all who came in contact with her. Her infectious smile and laugh would light up a room. LaVonne’s kind and compassionate ways led her to her position as a home care aide where she was loved by all who she served. LaVonne is survived by her sons, Garrett and Troy Ostrom, and their father; grandson, Tyler Ostrom; brothers, Richard J. (Anna) Bohaty, Russell W. Bohaty; aunts, nephew, nieces, along with many cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Rudolph Bohaty; mother, Marie (Foley) Bohaty Doran; and brother Ronald E. Bohaty. We extend our deepest gratitude to the staff of Hometown Senior Living in Rosemount, MN and Hospice of the Midwest. We wish to extend a special thank you to Lisa and Nora for their unconditional, compassionate and loving care of LaVonne.
