Florence M. Morini, 95

Florence M. (Bertoldi) Morini, age 95, of Wareham, formerly of Mansfield and Walpole, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Royal of Cotuit Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Mashpee. She was the beloved wife of the late Enrico E. Morini, who died in 1985.
Born in Ossining, New York on June 11, 1925, she was a loving daughter of the late Ralph and Concelia (Levelle) Bertoldi.
Florence moved to Norwood at the age of 10, where she grew up and was educated. She had made her home in Wareham for the past four years and was a former longtime resident of Mansfield and Walpole.
Mrs. Morini was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family. While living in Mansfield, she was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church and an active member at the Mansfield Senior Center, where she helped mail out monthly newsletters. When younger, Florence was an extremely talented seamstress.
She is survived by her devoted sons: Ermando A. Morini and his wife Ruth of Holliston, Dennis M. Morini of Wareham and the late Robert Morini. She was the loving grandmother of Lora Beth Morini and Kevin Goncalves. She was pre-deceased by her siblings and is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 19th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Catherine’s Church, 549 Washington St., Norwood. Private burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Florence with a donation in her memory made to a charity of one’s choice.
