Gertrude "Marie" Johnson, 83, of Woodland Park, CO, died Monday January 11, 2021 in the Forest Ridge Nursing Home in Woodland Park. She was born in Saugus, MA on October 26, 1937, a daughter of the late Thomas Crilley and Gertrude (Beckford) Crilley. She had been a resident of Woodland Park for the past several years, formerly living in Derry, NH. She grew up in Saugus, MA and lived in Derry for over 30 years. Marie enjoyed traveling, and was dedicated to her family. She had been a member of the Bethany Covenant Church in Bedford, NH.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Kindt and her husband Thomas of Woodland Park; her son, Matthew Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandchildren, Ryan Kindt, and Bailey Kindt; two brothers, Douglas Crilley of Beverly Hills, FL, and Charles Crilley of Stoneham, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Johnson in 2016.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held in the Bethany Covenant Church, 1 Covenant Way, Bedford, NH in summer 2021. The burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH. Memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Pines Conference Center in Swanzey, NH. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
