Ingeborg Mann, 72 of Derry, NH, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mrs. Mann was born in Zeppenfeld, Germany on December 27, 1933, a daughter of the late Franz and Martha (Faust) Hoffmann. She was a resident of Derry since 1997, having emigrated from Gilsbach, Germany to be with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and crocheting. She was a very strong, compassionate and giving person. She loved animals, especially her dog, Midnight. Ingeborg had many friends in Germany and was looking forward to visiting her homeland next month. She loved her country and everything about it. She was socially conscious, enjoyed people and people adored her. Even though she could not speak English, she still managed to get her point across.
She is survived by three daughters, Angelika Hynds of Concord, NH, Susanne Robinson and her husband Marshall of Sierra Vista, AZ, Sabine Hynds and her husband Patrick of Derry, six grandchildren, Jackie Hynds, Danny Hynds, Jessica Hynds, Dominique Molaski and her husband Wesley, Jenni Hynds, Melissa Hynds, and a sister, Charlotte Heinz of Osnabrueck, Germany. She was predeceased by her son, Karl Albert Mann in 1995.
Following cremation, friends and family were invited to 31 Emerald Dr., Derry on Monday, March 20th between the hours of 12:00pm and 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Derry Humane Society, P.O. Box 142, East Derry, NH 03041.
