Robert Francis Walsh
LOWELL Robert Francis “Beauff” Walsh, 69, of Lowell, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Alice (Jones) Strykowski with whom he shared over 20 years of marriage.
He was born in Westford on December 10, 1951 and was a son of the late Henrietta (Perry) Walsh. He was raised and educated in the Westford area. He worked with his nephews as a drywall installer for many many years. He enjoyed spending time at the DLKV, JJ’s Pub and Cappy’s Copper Kettle. “Beauff”, as he was affectionately known, loved to make people laugh and was a fun person to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, Alice, of Lowell, he leaves behind his 2 sisters, Donna Pilato of Lowell and Pat Lacarpo of Manchester, NH; his stepchildren, Kelly Jones of Boston, and Tracy Jones of Boston. He is also survived by his brother in law, Peter Jones and his wife, Patty; his sister in law, Mary Kapala; and his sister in law, Shiela Hamel; and many nieces, including Kim Pelletier, and several nephews, including Mickey Pilato and Robert Pilato.
He was also the brother of the late John Walsh.
