Jacy Coyote Connell, 26, of Derry, NH passed away at his residence on Saturday January 9, 2021. He was born on July 14, 1994 in Manchester, NH and was the son of Stephen and Pam Lacombe-Connell. Jacy was raised and educated in Derry and was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy where he participated in the Jr. ROTC.
Jacy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps., where he served Active Duty from 2013-2018. He served as Crew chief, HMH-461, Iron Horse Squadron, New River, NC on the CH53E Super Stallion Helicopter. Decorations include: Navy Meritorious Unit Command, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Medal, Expert Rifle Qual. Badge (2), Sharpshooter Qual. Badge.
After his service, Jacy was employed as a RF Technician with Mercury Systems of Hudson, NH. Jacy; was a kind and loving son, who enjoyed riding his many dirt bikes, four seasons hiking in the White Mountains, caring for his family’s kennel of sled dogs, and spending time with his loving family. He loved this Country and his home state of New Hampshire and inspired many to love them as well.
Members of the family include his parents, Stephen and Pam Connell of Derry and his paternal grandparents, Diana Connell and Hiram Connell, Jacy was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Eva Lacombe.
A memorial reception was held at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road in Londonderry, NH, on January 28, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm. Visitation concluded with Military Honors. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the reception will be a walk-through visitation to limit exposure to all attendees. All are required to wear masks.
