Dennis Allan Coppock, 71, of Anderson, went suddenly to be with the Lord, January 9, 2021.
Dennis was born November 28, 1949 in Marion, Indiana the son of John H. Coppock and Nancy Murrell Coats Poole.
He was most recently the General Manager at Castor Pruitt Car Sales; founder of Families Forever Ministries 1997 to present; part-time Anderson University Security presently; owner of Corvettes Plus; previous years of police work with Alexandria and Summitville Police Depts. He attended Cross Roads United Methodist Church in Anderson. He was a member of Anderson Corvette Association and had a passion for Corvettes. He loved to play golf, go camping, trips to Brown County with family and also to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Family was most important. He was a pastor and loved the Lord with all of his heart.
Survivors include his wife, Karen (Eppard) Coppock whom he married October 21, 1967; daughter, Michelle (Robert G.) Tyler; son, Jeff (Anita) Coppock; five grandchildren, Jordan (Cassie) Keck, Jarren Keck, Bryce Coppock, Andrew Coppock and Cory Coppock; great grandchild, Alistair Keck and another one on the way; three brothers, Gary Poole, James Poole and John R. Coppock; Aunt Christine Barton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Denny was preceded in death by his father, John H. Coppock his wife Edna Coppock; mother, Nancy Murrell Coats Poole; sister, Karen J. Cole and grandparents, Lawrence and Betty Coppock.
Service will be Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Rick Jones of Cross Roads United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
