FALL RIVER – Norman Moniz, 79, passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Paula (Arruda) Moniz. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph and Regina (Vieira) Moniz. Norman served for the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Along with his wife he is survived by his son Douglas Moniz (wife Kristen) of Somerset and Jeffrey Moniz (wife Colleen) of Johnston, RI; 3 step-children Rachel Paquette, Paul Souza Jr. and Eric Souza; 3 grandchildren Michael, Kaidyn and Nicholas; as well as 6 great-grandchildren.
Following cremation his calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, Jan. 21st from 10-11 A.M.
