FALL RIVER – Antonio N. Medeiros, age 65, passed away on January 9, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Correia) Medeiros. Born in Santo Antonio, São Miguel, Açores, he was the son of the late João and Maria (Aguiar) Medeiros. He worked as a presser for many years at Santoro then Bradley Scott, then worked as a landscaper. He also was a cook for Sagres for many years. Antonio enjoyed to cook and fish. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially with his son.
Along with his wife he is survived by his son Ethan Medeiros of Fall River; siblings João Medeiros (wife Olga) of Rehoboth, Aldavina Ferreira (husband Manuel) of Westport, Maria Silva (husband Rafael) of Fall River, Ana Cabral (husband Jermono) of Westport, Carlos Medeiros of Acores and Mary Lou Macedo (husband Al) of Swansea; as well as many nieces and nephews. Antonio was also predeceased by his sister Linda Silva.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Wednesday, Jan. 13th with extended calling hours from 9-10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church at 10:30 A.M.
